01

Scope

This draft explains how Trellis Tables handles personal information when guests discover restaurants, make or manage bookings, create accounts, save restaurants or payment methods, join availability notifications, or communicate through the service.

Restaurants also receive and use guest information to operate their businesses. Their own privacy notices apply to their independent uses, including hospitality, guest profiles, and marketing they control.

02

Information we collect

The information depends on how you use Trellis Tables and may include:

  • name, email address, phone number, country, and postal code;
  • account credentials, authentication events, favorites, and profile preferences;
  • restaurant, date, time, party size, occasion, accessibility needs, dietary notes, and booking history;
  • payment status and limited card details, such as brand and last four digits, from our payment provider;
  • messages, notification requests, reviews, support requests, and consent choices; and
  • device, browser, IP address, cookie, security, and service-usage information.

Please share sensitive information in booking notes only when it is relevant to the restaurant experience and you are comfortable providing it to the restaurant.

03

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • search availability and create, confirm, change, transfer, or cancel bookings;
  • process charges, refunds, fraud checks, and reservation holds;
  • operate accounts, saved restaurants, preferences, and customer support;
  • send transactional messages and optional marketing selected by the guest;
  • secure, debug, measure, and improve the service; and
  • comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect guests, restaurants, and Trellis Tables.
04

When information is shared

We share booking and contact information with the restaurant and its authorized staff so they can provide hospitality, communicate with you, honor preferences, manage payment, and resolve changes or disputes.

We may also share information with:

  • payment, identity, hosting, messaging, analytics, map, and security providers working for us;
  • a recipient you choose when you transfer a reservation or event ticket;
  • authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or
  • a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not treat optional marketing consent as a condition of making a reservation.

05

Payments and third parties

Payment providers process full payment credentials. Trellis Tables receives transaction status and display-safe payment details needed to complete and support a booking; it is not designed to store a complete card number or security code.

Restaurant websites, maps, sign-in providers, and other linked services have separate privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information directly to them.

06

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain booking and payment records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet restaurant instructions, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it is held.

Deleting a Trellis Tables account removes or de-identifies the account profile and account access as described in the product. Restaurants may retain reservation, payment, consent, messaging, and audit records needed for operations or legal compliance.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your account and private reservation-management links.

07

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and relationship with us, you may be able to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or object to particular uses. Signed-in guests can use available account settings to update information, export Tables account data, manage saved payment methods, and request account deletion.

Marketing messages include an opt-out method. Transactional booking or security messages may continue when needed to provide the service. To make another privacy request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

08

Children

Trellis Tables is not directed to children under 13, and children should not create an account or submit personal information through the service. A parent or guardian arranging a booking that includes a child should provide only the information the restaurant reasonably needs.

09

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as Trellis Tables changes or legal requirements develop. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes do not rewrite the restaurant terms and consent record captured for an already completed booking.

10

Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@trellispos.com. For information a restaurant controls independently, contact that restaurant using the details on its venue page or your confirmation.
